THEME DISTRESSING

Here is My DT card for it Hope it gives you Inspiration!! I edged/distressed  the base card with green chalk ink and smudged inwards... Ripped a green peace of card and edged/distressed  again with the chalk ink  and then I stamped My own background Randomly with a leaf stamp And Edged/distressed the outside edge... Tied a piece of garden string around to give a more rustic look... and added a stamped images coloured with spika pens.... Layered it all up adding a bit of gold card and finished off with a yellow flower that has been on my desk for ages!!

Now this took me quite a while to actually decide on What to do!!!!...................

 After much "Head debating" ha ha... I decided on making a Bracelet!! 

Now for me Weight for jewelry is important as I dont like things too heavy... or Jewelry that gets caught on my cloths ... I think there's nothing more annoying than having to try and untangle things stuck on my cloths...especially after a night out.. ha ha  

I eventually came up with this Gorgeous Red Bracelet!! I made it for a friend and Red is he Favourite colour ...

 I  decided on doing a slim box to fit it in ... With just a few embellishments on the top... The box I made in White card (300gsm so its sturdy.. ) and and edged every fold and outside edge in Delicate Pink ink... The flowers were made by cutting a 2" circle into a spiral and Coloured the leading edge before coiling together... The leaf is a Sizzlet die Fern , and Finished off with a single Pearl....

Brooches....

Not sure if I spelt that right ha ha... but never mind.. hers a couple of them I made yesterday out of Buttons!!! The little heart shaped Charms on one side say "I love My dog" and on the other side a paw-print... Ive made quite a few for the CEFNI sale in 3 weeks time (ARGGHH)  to help raise funds for the German Shepherd Rescue ....

hers a few of the Baby beanie HatsI sit and hand knit for my local baby unit.. I sit and do these while Im watching a bit of Tv... I enjoy doing them plus it helps the little prem babies...

They dont take a lot of time and only leftover scraps of wool is used....... ..

My sanity depends on this...
